Yeah, Christmas tree!!!

We bought a real Christmas tree this year! Smells good!! The kids were so excited to decorate it. And of course Kasadee asks everyday if its Christmas yet. Maybe we should have waited a week to put it up...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUBBA!!!

Tayson turned 8!! Time goes so fast, it seems like not long ago I was a week over due, miserable and being wheeled in to the OR for a c-section. Aw memories!! Anyways, he got to go hunting with his dad and grandpa and even miss school!! How lucky is that!! He got his favorite toys Bakugans!! The new boy trend!!

Turkey Trot

KrisLyn's achievement days group had a Turkey Trot dinner. Her guest was her dad! They had dinner and a cake decorating contest. I saw this cute Pizza cake a couple years ago (Ben's cousin Karla made one). We use red frosting for the sauce, white frosting for the cheese, fruit roll ups for the pepperoni. Ben's cousin put the white frosting in the freezer and grated it like cheese, ours however didn't work out so easy. I found one the the kids play dough toys that squeezes stuff out and that worked a little better. We also made a bread stick cake. We baked the cake in a small cookie sheet, then we used a powder sugar glaze with yellow food coloring so it looked like butter. And used powder sugar and butter mixed together as Parmesan cheese. Pizza Man in North Ogden donated the boxes (Thanks Pizza Man!!!). They turned out really cute, I think!

Happy Halloween

I think the kids had a good time this Halloween. The older kids had school parties, everyone went to a party at great grandma Donnas, and they got lots of treats!!! Tayson was a Hunter, KrisLyn was a 50's girl, Kasadee a cheerleader and Travis was Frankinstien. Tayson got to go with his best friend Liam and the other went to the trunk or treat at the church and in a couple nieghborhoods. Yeah for Halloween and on to a fast approaching Christmas (Ahhh)!!!
