Tayson's First Hunt

Tayson got to go hunting with Ben this year. They got this dear on the first day. He had a good time with his dad!

Kasadee's Birthday

Happy 6th Birthday!!

Kindergarten

Kasadee started Kindergarten!! She is loving it! I thought we would have a struggle with her being separated from my side, but she was ready to go!
She absolutely loves it! She gets up and gets her self ready in the morning and can't wait to get on the bus (the best part by the way)!

Stupid wasp!!!

We haven't really had a problem with wasps this year until today. In the years before they were everywhere! This year I've only seen a dozen so far this summer. But today poor Travis was a victim:( He got stung on his top lip and it swelled pretty good! All he could say was "Bee bit me!!"

Tag your it!

Big Bubba taking care of little T-willey! Aww so cute:)

Post the 11th picture in the 4th folder! I tag Kendall, Jenn and Stacey!!

Happy Fourth!!

This year we got to be in the Centerville parade with Les Schwab. It was fun and different form sitting on the side lines! I didn't get picture, here is an awesome shot of the firework show in Farr West I stole from brother!

Cub Scout Camp!!!

We got to go to Camp Kiesel for a day, it was great!! The boys had a good time. The only thing I was really disappointed about was they weren't really accommodating to Ronald's needs. I called and talked to someone about him being in a wheelchair. They said there was plenty of space up there. Some of the areas didn't work so well. And the youth leader was really great, but I could tell she was trained in the special needs areas. But that didn't stop him from having a great day! His Dad came and carried him the most of the places his chair couldn't go, I just wish we would have been more prepared. There is always next year, I hope I am still a den leader then:)

Jaxson doing the silly Abraham song

Ben at the Archery Range

Ammon, Justin and Bronson at Knot station

Ronald's Dad lifted him in the boat, they did a great job!!
Enoch on the tight rope walk

I think they have a fun day, I know we did!!!!

A boy and his tools!

He likes to be outside with his dad! Helping him or losing his tools, how ever you want to look at it:)

Trout Farm

Last week we went to the trout farm with our cub scouts, we had a blast!! The boys really liked it. Ben's brother was up from Idaho so we decided to go again. We had lots of fun! Since we had gone the week before Travis was pretty familiar with what was going on, he really liked the fish. When is was finally his turn he put the pole in and pulled a fish out. Everyone cheered, Ben was getting the fish off the hook and before anyone turned around he had the pole back the water. So Nancy said "No, no you have one" and pulled it out and what do you know, out came another fish! He giggled!

Kasadee, Kasadee, Kasadee!!!

After dinner one night Kasadee asked me when we where going to do our activity for the evening and I told her when the dinner table was clean off. So she ran out of the kitchen and yelled "Who ever is in the kitchen has to clean it up!!" Gee thanks Kasadee!!! I was the only one in the kitchen!!! So not feeling the love! But Ben got her back, he picked her up and put her in her room and yelled "Who ever is in Kasadee room has to clean it!" She jut ran out giggling!! It was worth a shoot.

Eggs, Eggs, Eggs!!!

There never seems to be enough eggs to color!

Two for the price of one!!!

When I was little my dad always took us the Weber State Duck Pond. We have made many memories there. Like how Seagulls really like Pringles!! They would fight the ducks for them. My dad thought that was great! I also remember going to North Ogden (where Lee's Market is now) and drink out of the water spring. And eating the water crest that grow aroud the stump. A lot of people would bring empty jugs to fill thier water. Now they have rebulit the area. Where to concrete spring was is now a nice water fountain, and the water is deverted down though a big pipe, so you fill up your water jugs easy. It also has a nice duck pond down from the drinking fountain. So Ben and I took the kids there, we had a picnic and feed the ducks. While we were eating luch and old man came up to us and ask about the kids. He told us he was from out of town and his kids were all grown. He told me how beutiful my kids where and gave them each a dollar!! Nice!! The kids where really excited!!!

Travis plays dress up...

He likes to do whatever Kasadee and her friend Erin does! I guess I need to have some boy dress up things handy:)

He is in his heaven!! Choo, choo!!

The train table we ordered Travis came in today! Yay! We went to the store to pick it up, the lady brought it out and Travis was in awe, he just stood there and stared for minute. Since it was so big he couldn't sit in the cart anymore, so I told him to help me push the cart. Now normally he runs the opposite direction- but he was so excited he held on to the cart and walked as fast as I would let him (he would have ran into other people if I let him). Straight out the store to the van and I when I told him to get in his seat he actually did it!! Shocker!! He had grin on his face to whole way home and when we pulled in the neighborhood he said "choo choos!". I opened his door and he said "choo choos!". And then straight into the house (normally he wonders off). He held open the door and closed it after I went in and up the stairs with that big grin!!! So cute!! Just looked how happy he is...

Travis turns 2!

Happy Birthday Travis!!! Tavis is in love with trains, the first thing he says of in the morning is "choo choos"! We are all pretty sick of Thomas the Train shows. For his birthday Grandma Sharol made him a Thomas blanket and pillow cases. Grandma Nancy, Papa John and Kellie got him a little peoples train set and we got him a train table (but it hasn't come it yet). KrisLyn made him a little bean bag at her Activity Days. Travis is our little tornado!! So full of life, smart and sweet. We all agree he is darn cute, but he is the cutest when he is asleep:)

Give away a day

My mom loves to watch Good Things Utah, rarely misses a day. This morning on the show they had a give away blog. You go to this blog, http://www.giveawaytoday.blogspot.com/. Leave your name (other information if needed) and check back the next day to see if you won. They don't save your email, name or other information thats why you have to check back. You can even leave your comment annomous, too. Right now they have several different give away, because of the Good Things Utah, but normally I think one contest a day.

Dad

Well its been three years since he has been gone. Man times goes by fast!! My dad was the greatest! He was so much fun, ever giving, smart, and the hardest worker I think I have ever met!! The picture above was taken at Lagoon with my older brother Bill and me! He always took us to do fun things, Lagoon or a water park was always on the list! He always give us what we needed and more. When I was little I had a Primary activity that was a Father/Daughter activity. I lived in Willard and he lived in Green River, WY so I figured I wouldn't have a dad for it. My friend Stephanie was going to let me share hers, but I got to the church and he was sitting there waiting for me! After he got off work he drove 3 hours to be there for a simple BINGO party!! How amazing is that?! I will never forget how much he loved me!! Kasadee found this picture the other day and asked "Do you wish he was still alive?" I told her no. She asked why, I told her he is doing important work on the other side. I miss he a lot, but he really isn't far away, I feel him close by making sure everything is going okay. I am so very thankful for this wonderful Gospel, to know that we will be together again someday!
